Upon graduating in Art Therapy from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1995 my internship took me to the brain & spinal chord rehab in-patient center at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene Oregon. The internship turned into a position working alongside an amazing team of doctors and therapists that inspired me to learn massage therapy.
In 1998 I completed a 2 year curriculum at Cascade Institute of Massage and Body Therapies in Eugene, Oregon and received my license in the year 2000. Continuing education regularly brought me up to Portland to study with Til Luchau in Advanced Myofacial Techniques. Taking over 14 classes over a three year period completing a certification from this wonderful teacher and Rolfer.
Since moving to Portland in 2006 I enjoyed working at West Portland Physical Therapy Clinic, and P.A.C.E. (Portland Athletic Center of Excellence). Both increasing my skills and expanding my network of referrals to provide continuum of care. Currently I’m continuing studying the systems of Craniosacral and Visceral Manipulation under Upledger and Barral Institutes.
